I recently completed a college based Level 3 Certificate in Counselling skills and hold a diploma in Indian Head Massage.
My therapy room is in my home in East Ewell, Epsom and there is private parking available. I hold up to date public liability insurance and follow Association guidelines for health and safety in relation to Covid-19.
How I got here...
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in English & Music in the mid 1990s after which came a career within the Finance, Publishing and Not for Profit sectors in London with a stint abroad in the Middle East and Asia during 2005-15.
Whilst always an advocate of Complementary health therapies, it was when experiencing some personal health issues of my own, that I found my physical and mental health positively influenced by the benefits of regular Reflexology sessions. Reflexology supported me through a difficult time physically and psychologically and it was several years later when, back in London and at a bit of a cross roads in my career that I decided to re-train in this amazing therapy. I am now able to use this wonderfully gentle but highly effective therapy in helping others as it helped me.

ABOUT REFLEXOLOGY
So, what's it all about?
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing.
A touch therapy that is based on the theory that different points on the feet and hands correspond with different areas of the body and reflexologists "work" these points and areas.
Reflexology provides a period of time for relaxation where the client has one to one attention and supportive touch in an empathetic listening environment. Reflexology can be used safely alongside standard healthcare to promote better health and can be received by anyone at any age. There may occasionally be times when it is not suitable to provide a treatment and please note: reflexology should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice, the best way to check if it's suitable for you, is to just ask!
Will Reflexology help me?
Well trained reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe, more... Reflexology aims to work with the body to help itself, restoring balance naturally. It can aid relaxation, improve mood, aid sleep, releasse tension and aid general wellbeing.
More often than not after a treatment your tension may be reduced and you might feel relaxed. You might also notice yourself sleeping better and find your mood and sense of wellbeing improving. You may also find that other aspects improve too; however, this happens on an individual basis.
Reflexology is a very individual treatment which is tailored to you as a whole person, taking into account both physical and non-physical factors that might be affecting your wellbeing. Some people find it works for them – some don’t.
The best way to find out is to try it!
